Call for artists – June exhibition

- showing luminous colours that seem to change when seen from different angles.
Entries are invited for works on the theme Iridescent – all mediums welcome – painting, photography, fabric, wood, glass, ceramic, metal, light. All work should include elements of iridescence, brilliance, or lustre. Maximum size of pieces submitted to be 70cm x 100cm or equivalent size in smaller pieces, and all artwork must be ready to hang. If work is for sale it should remain in the exhibition until the end unless in exceptional circumstances. 30% commission will be charged. Entry fee is $25. This fee will be used to cover gallery hire and other expenses including opening. Entries close 31 May in order to allow time for the selection process. All exhibitors to provide text for the exhibition labels (name, artwork name, price, medium). Drop off date will be Thursday 13 June. Opening 6pm Friday 14th June. The exhibition will be open daily 10-2 15 – 23 June 2024 – some help will be required staffing the gallery, especially on weekends.
