Winnie-the-Pooh revisits his old pal Christopher Robin (Ewan McGregor), now an overworked family man, and helps him to rediscover the joys in life.

Christopher Robin’s work has become his life, leaving little time for his wife and daughter. Christopher has all but forgotten his idyllic childhood spent with a simple-minded, honey-loving stuffed bear and his friends. But when he is reunited with Pooh, now tattered and soiled from years of hugs and play, their friendship is rekindled, reminding Christopher of the endless days of childlike wonder and make believe that defined his youth, when doing nothing was considered the very best something. Following an unfortunate mishap with Christopher Robinâ€™s briefcase, Pooh and the rest of the gang including Piglet, Eeyore and Tigger, step out of the forest and venture into London to return the crucial possessionsâ€¦ because best friends will always be there for you.

The Karioi Quilters have been making high quality, natural fibre, artistic quilts for many years. Primarily a patchwork and quilting group, the members meet to share knowledge and skills and enjoy creating in good company. From 2023, we changed the name to Karioi Quilts and Crafts to open the group up to other crafters. Members can work on their own projects ranging from quilts, sewing projects and you can even bring your knitting, as long as it’s not a messy craft anything goes. New members are always welcome to come along to work on their own projects and learn techniques from a group of very creative craftspeople. Road, and Cook Street Market, followed by Folk Clubs and festivals in NZ, Australia and the UK. His first album ‘Time On The Road’ led to a hitch-hiking tour of Highways 1 to 91 with solo shows of homegrown songs. Mike’s recordings have often been played on RNZ National Radio. He compiled ‘When the Pakeha Sings of Home’ for Godwit Press and has made several series of programmes for National Radio on New Zealand music. Further recordings include: ‘From the Edge’ (Folk Record of the Year 1987); ‘One For You’; ‘Songs Of Local Folk’ and ‘From The Tracks’ for broadcast on National Radio and released by Replay Radio on cassette, 1989-1996; ‘Home Is Where The Heart Is’ and ‘Shaky Isles’.
