The Karioi Quilters have been making high quality, natural fibre, artistic quilts for many years. Primarily a patchwork and quilting group, the members meet to share knowledge and skills and enjoy creating in good company. Joe Wilson is a singer-songwriter who spent five years busking across New Zealand, Australia and the UK and has now been in Raglan for nine years. His relatable lyrics and heartfelt lyrics are embedded within sweet melodies that give a timeless and nostalgic feel to the songs. Singer Penni Feather and keyboardist extraordinaire Nicky Keys will showcase more of their recent collaboration. Having taken a few songs out for a ‘training run’ at the last Live & Local in December, they’re back to road-test more of the material for their forthcoming cabaret show. The Blukes - Six guys got together, each with a song of his choice. With their ages ranging from 40 to 75, the songs cover a wide variety of genres and decades. You will be surprised at what these blokes can play on ukes! His relatable lyrics and heartfelt lyrics are embedded within sweet melodies that give a timeless and nostalgic feel to the songs. Singer Penni Feather and keyboardist extraordinaire Nicky Keys will showcase more of their recent collaboration. Having taken a few songs out for a ‘training run’ at the last Live & Local in December, they’re back to road-test more of the material for their forthcoming cabaret show. The Blukes - Six guys got together, each with a song of his choice. With their ages ranging from 40 to 75, the songs cover a wide variety of genres and decades.
