  • -- February 14, 2025, 7:30 pm: LIVE & LOCAL at the Old School - Feb 14

Friday February 14 at Raglan Old School Arts Centre, 5 Stewart Street, Raglan. Upstairs in Whare Tapere.

Under 14 years free, over 14 years $10 entry. Doors open at 7pm with Live & Local starting at 7.30pm. Bar open.

Our popular Live & Local featuring local performers continues for 2025...

A showcase for local performers, from songwriters to comedy.

Live & Local returns after a hiatus last year with new music coordinator Nicky Mann at the helm.

February's line-up is another great mix of emerging and established Raglan acts. Lynne Wilkins and Michael Mackinnon comprise popular folk duo WilkieMac. They use a variety of instruments and vocal combinations to create a soundscape that will lift and inspire, get you singing along, tapping your feet; it will tug at your heartstrings, and draw you along the path of whimsy.

Joe Wilson's heartfelt lyrics blended with sweet melodies give a nostalgic feel to his songs. Wilson blends alt folk, indie and americana with a timeless 70's style.

And also newcomer Sebastienne Rischmüller on guitar with her own Schnuki tunes.

If you’re interested in performing at one of these shows, contact music@raglanartscentre.co.nz

Live & Local presented by Raglan Old School Arts Centre is made possible with the support of Waikato District Creative Communities, Norah Howell Charitable Trust, Raglan Light & Sound and Mark Frost (Bayleys Real Estate)
