Entries now open for Raglan Art to Wear Awards 2016

Entries are now open for the Raglan Art to Wear Awards 2016 to be held on Saturday 4^th June 2016 in the Raglan Town Hall Bow Street, Raglan.  Raglan Art to Wear is presented by the Raglan Community Arts Council.

Entries are invited for the following sections:

• On the Re-Bound
• Scarlet Fever
• Middle Earth
• Wild by Nature
• Time Travel

There will be two shows:

2pm Show

7pm Show & Awards Presentation

Audience tickets available at $20 from 23th May 2016 from Raglan i-SITE 15 Wainui Rd, Raglan. Get in quick as they sell out fast!

Entry forms with fees are to be received by Friday 20 May 2016;

Only entries received by this date can be guaranteed a complimentary ticket.

$30 for one entry, $10 per entry thereafter (includes 1 entry ticket to show, if form is submitted by Friday 20 May). Either post a cheque, or for internet banking please see Paying Us Money.

Each entry must include:

A photograph or drawing with a brief description and number of pieces included. (NB Be creative and concise, including inspiration and processes used as this will be used in the artwork commentary.) Garments and accessories must be clearly named and must be strong enough to withstand rehearsal and shows.

Please note:

Selected Artworks will be exhibited at the Old School for two weeks following show.

*RCAC is not responsible for the cost of return of artwork.

This signed entry form constitutes permission for the submitted artwork and model to be filmed/photographed and images used by Raglan Art to Wear/RCAC for future event promotion, documentation, archive and reports to sponsors and funding bodies.

Registration Information:

All artwork must be received at the Town Hall on Friday 3 June between 3pm and 5pm. Full dress rehearsal will be at 10am Saturday 4 June (gold coin for support crew entry and photo opportunities).

Prizes awarded to all section finalists, from which the Supreme Award winner will be chosen.

1st prize $1000

2nd prize $500

3rd prize $300

Supreme Children’s Award $300
