A JOURNEY THROUGH ART

A Solo Retrospective Exhibition
After twenty years of painting the time has come for Ro Fawcett to present a retrospective collection of her works. Starting with large landscapes and seascapes that reflected the world she lived in on a remote farm, these gradually morphed into contemporary works that may well challenge the viewer.

Having spent a life in design and advertising, picking up a paint brush was an ideal outlet for those creative juices. With help from art courses and other artists, a distinctive style emerged. Large brushes and lots of colour burst onto the canvas and a new career was begun.

Over the last two years a radical change in style has become modern and sometimes controversial. Weird and wonderful paintings have appeared.

This exhibition will contain examples of Ro’s journey through the twenty years.
The variety may well surprise so call in during open gallery times and
come explore the journey with Ro.
