Exhibition - Illuminosity

Illuminosity art exhibition at the Old School Arts Centre is a collaboration between local artists Catherine O’Kelly and Marise Rarere.

Both members of the art collective Raglan Art, the talented artists look forward to sharing their artwork during the holiday season.

First-time exhibitor Catherine describers her works as abstract, she uses mixed media including mixing beeswax with oils to create an encaustic image that is luminous in its shape and quality. Marise is a familiar face to art lovers in Whaingaroa and the multi-media artist says she is always working towards a simple beauty in her artwork.

Both artists are also participating in the Raglan Arts Weekend in Easter.

You are invited to a “Meet the Artists” on Saturday, January 5 from 10am–2pm at the Old School.
Illuminosity runs Saturday, Jan 5 until Wednesday, Jan 30 from 10am-2pm.
