Classes and workshops

A panel of talented and creative tutors are available in a variety of the arts at the Old School Arts Centre and other locations in and around Raglan/Whaingaroa covering a wide range of levels. Classes and workshops run regularly throughout the year.

CLAY ART

AFTER SCHOOL ART CLASSES

Kids multimedia art classes (including clay art) held during each school term with funding support from Waikato District Creative Communities NZ and Raglan Lions Club.  Online bookings opening soon, email [email protected] for further details.

$95 first child in family/$85 sibling

CLAY TIME PLUS

Classes are in the evening (typically 6pm – 8pm) | They usually run either four or six weeks. Tutored classes are $160 per person (including starter pack of clay, bisque firing and membership if applicable). The price is reduced for members of RCAC and the Clay Shed group. Specifically developed to help members who are new to working with clay or wish to refresh their skills, to support their development until they are confident and proficient enough to continue working on their own projects at the Wednesday evening members-only Clay Play sessions. WHEEL WORKSHOPS

Our lovely wheel tutor Sarah Bing runs regular 6-week evening workshops, suitable for beginners or those looking to advance their practice.  Online bookings opening soon.

We also provide introductory weekend workshops tutored by Robyn Marsters.  Online bookings opening soon.
