NZ Herald 3.5/5 Stars "In the hands of veteran director Mike Newell, the focus is on the characters' relationships as Juliet gets to know all the members of the book club, rather than debating the merit of the classics."

Directed by Mike Newell (Four Weddings and a Funeral), James plays free-spirited journalist Juliet Ashton, who forms a life-changing bond with the delightful and eccentric Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society.
