A Revealing Thyme is a captivating journey into our country’s colonial past, bringing to life a time when plants were as important to the maintenance of health as antibiotics later became.

Most recently performed as part of Toi Wahine at Hamilton’s Meteor Theatre, this play pays homage to the domestic healers, most of whom were women, who worked tirelessly to support the health of their families, their neighbours and friends.

Herbal products based on the recipes and ingredients our ancestors used available for sale before and after the show.
