A panel of talented and creative tutors are available in a variety of the arts at the Old School Arts Centre and other locations in and around Raglan/Whaingaroa covering a wide range of levels. Classes and workshops run regularly throughout the year.
CLAY ART
AFTER SCHOOL KIDS CLAY
Kids clay classes held during each school term with funding support from Waikato District Creative Communities NZ and Raglan Lions Club

CLAY SHED PLAY TIME
Every Wednesday from 5pm – 7pm
An evening for clay shed members come along, join in, share and learn techniques about everything clay. At the Raglan Community Clay Shed.

CLAY TIME PLUS
Thursday classes 6pm – 8pm
Tutored classes from 5.30pm – 7.30pm – $60 pp (plus materials used) or early bird special $50. Specifically developed to help members who are new to working with clay – to support their development until they are confident and proficient enough to continue working on their own projects at the Wednesday members-only Clay Play sessions. If this sounds like it’s just what you need, come along to the Thursday “Clay time Plus” sessions and learn from the experts. Thursdays ‘Clay time Plus’ – bookings are essential. 6 week rolling program.

Raglan ballet classes start back with Charlotte Evans on Mondays.
The timetable is 2.30pm 3-4 years/ 3.30pm 5 years/ 4pm 6-7 years/ 4.30pm 6-7 years/ 5pm 8-10 years
The programme offers ballet in a fun and non-competitive environment for boys and girls aged 3-10. Charlotte started ballet as a three-year-old and went on to vocational training at London Contemporary Dance School – a performance-based course where she gained teaching credentials.
