RAW 2024 Preview Exhibition

Our much-loved annual Raglan Arts Weekend (RAW) kicks off next week with the opening of our Preview Exhibition on Friday 4th October. 
 
For 3 weeks, you can visit the Old School Arts Centre heritage building to enjoy 84 artworks from our 42 open studios. We are chuffed with the range of media this year… painting, illustration, sculpture, glass, ceramics, textiles, graffiti, taxidermy, jewellery, photography, woodwork, weaving, metalwork, prints, and more!

All of these artworks have been created especially for this year’s event and are for sale. It’s a wonderful opportunity for you to bag that special piece created in Raglan and also support our artist community in a meaningful way.   As well as a showcase piece at any price, each of the studios contributes a 300mm x 300mm artwork to be sold for a steal at $200. These are always very popular and it’s interesting to see how the artists respond to the challenge of this size and format. All exhibition proceeds go directly to artists and towards the event itself, which is a not-for-profit.
