Trust Waikato approves vital grant for Old School Arts Centre

A generous grant from Trust Waikato of $15,000 will help support operational costs at the Raglan Old School Arts Centre in the coming year.

The Trust Waikato community trust donates over $10 million to Waikato communities each year. These grants range in size including small one-off grants, regular annual operating grants for community organisations, and large capital grants for one-off major community projects.

Raglan Arts Council chair Rodger Gallagher says community funders play a vital role in keeping the Old School open.

“As Raglan Old School Arts Centre is not funded by local government this large grant from Trust Waikato is essential for us to keep going. We are grateful for their support.”
